New Chair!  Mike Bennett is the new Chairman of the Board for Southern Cross Humanitarian. We are grateful for his desire to share his gifts and talents. He is a life-long champion of humanitarian efforts and loves the work and people in South America. (3/1/2010)

We've restructured and refocused our projects toward Prevention!  Southern Cross will be working more closely with local schools and communities to support opportunities for local growth so children don't turn to the streets for solutions. Southern Cross Humanitarian is pleased to introduce 3 new Chapter Presidents in Peru! Angela Tejada is our Lima, Peru Chapter President, Ivonne Diaz is our Cajamarca/Chiclayo President, and Leila Handa is our Chapter President for Trujillo. Leila is already working on a Christmas Eve celebration for the children at the Aldea in Trujillo. All three women will be coordinating activities to benefit children-at-risk in their local areas through and on behalf of Southern Cross Humanitarian. Welcome to the family! (12/23/09)
